The traditional hospitality banquet consists of tea, Ma Jue rice, soup dumplings, hand-grabbed mutton, Cai Hui and yogurt.
When tourists come to Tibet, they can taste some characteristics of Tibetan food in selected restaurants, such as enema, highland barley wine and buttered tea, beef and sheep hand-grabbed meat, yak cold tongue, steamed stuffed bun, Bazin, various cakes and Hubei fried noodles, tea, yogurt, sausage, pointed green jerky and so on.
