Others say that the name "tribute sugar" comes from the fact that it was once a royal tribute used by the people during their pilgrimage, so it was crowned with the word "tribute".
Tribute sugar is refined from peanuts, sugar and maltose. Among them, Quanzhou tribute sugar, Jinmen tribute sugar and Zhangzhou Baishui tribute sugar are all representatives of Minnan tribute sugar.
