I just went to Tianjin on May Day~ (Just for reference, I mainly went to see performances~) 1. The Beijing-Tianjin EMU: it runs from Beijing South to Tianjin Station.
I went from Tianjin Station to Beijing South. After getting off at Tianjin Station, it is best to go directly to the automatic ticket vending machine to buy Tianjin-Beijing South tickets.
2. Tianjin Station - Ancient Culture Street - Confucian Temple - Drum Tower Tianjin Station - Ancient Culture Street (North Point): A. Walk to Haihe Square Station and take Convenience 9. After 7 stops, get off at Dongma Road Station.
Car (I have never taken a car at Tianjin Station. The platform is under a tunnel. I have never found it before. Because Tianjin Station is relatively close to where I live, I only took a taxi.) B. Walk to Tianjin Station and take a taxi.
No. 5 (or 672, 824), get off at Dongma Road Station after 9 stops (this platform is as shown in the picture) C. Walk to Tianjin Station Hou Square Station and take 600 Outer Circle, after 6 stops
Get off at Dongma Road Station (air conditioning - it depends on whether the driver can turn it on or not, the fare is 2 yuan, I took it once, it was quite fast) This is the platform behind Tianjin Station.
There is a KFC in North Point, which is quite easy to find.
Entering from the intersection opposite KFC is the Ancient Culture Street. In the center of the Ancient Culture Street is the Tianjin Folk Museum - Tianhou Temple (which is the Mazu Temple, also called the Empress Temple), which is free.
There is a square here with many snacks, such as tea soup, ripe pear cakes, etc. (I didn’t eat anything here, because I was alone, so I just took some with me. I ate the ripe pear cakes, but it was from a street stall, because
I thought it looked pretty good and wanted to take a picture, but I had no choice but to buy one. It was 10 yuan! It was expensive and not delicious! The price at Tianhou Temple Square was 5 yuan, and the quantity was less. I won’t describe it in detail.
You’ll know when you go there!) There is a pretty big shop called Yangliuqing Painting opposite Tianhou Palace. Next to it is Clay Figurine Zhang. I should have seen two Clay Figurine Zhang before I got here. I heard the clerk say at the Clay Figurine Zhang Sculpture Ancient Zhai.
They are authentic. There is one with the name Clay Figurine Zhang Shijia. The one with a bigger reputation is a branch of Clay Figurine Zhang. The one next to Yangliuqing is cultivated by the state.
There is also the main store of 18th Street Mahua on the street. Wait, take your time and take a look~ Ancient Culture Street - Confucian Temple: Tickets for Confucian Temple are 30 yuan, student tickets are 15 yuan. Coming out of "Jinmen" of Ancient Culture Street is Shuige Street.
, walking along Shuige Street towards East Road, you can see the Confucian Temple. Opposite New World Department Store, you can also see the word Carrefour in the distance!
Opposite here is the Confucian Temple.
There were very few people in the Confucian Temple, maybe it was afternoon when I went there, and it was Friday.
Because when I was checking information online, I found that the Tianjin Confucian Temple has a long history, so I went there, and it was all on the way.
Confucian Temple - Drum Tower After leaving the Confucian Temple, walk along Gulou East Street. After passing the intersection of Chengxiang East Road, you will see the words Gulou Commercial Street, and you can see the Drum Tower in the distance.
(This direction is the same as the direction from Ancient Culture Street to the Confucian Temple) There is a Tianjin Old City Museum on the commercial street, which is free to visit.
You can also listen to a crosstalk show inside - Old Town Little Liyuan. It costs 40 yuan to listen to crosstalk.
There is a Gege Mansion on Gulou North Street, but I didn’t go in.
2. Gulou - Italian Style Area, walk about 470 meters to Gulou East Station, take bus 806 (or 5, 634, 672), and get off at "Italian Style Area Station" after 4 stops (by yourself)
Just check it in Baidu Maps in advance, I won’t illustrate it.) The Italian style area is near the train station. It is very beautiful. I went there just before I left. I was short of time and just took a look around.
They are all small western-style buildings that were rented from various places in the past. It feels quite exotic when you walk here. There are also some restaurants, cafes and so on.
3. Italian style area - Tianjin Station is just a short walk away.
You can see the Century Clock and Jiefang Bridge (very inconspicuous during the day, but very beautiful at night). The night view of Tianjin Station is particularly beautiful. In front of the station is Haihe Square with a fountain.
Opposite the Haihe River is Jinwan Square. There are tankers on the Haihe River. Haha, you can sit along the river and enjoy the scenery on both sides. It rained when I watched the night view, so I didn't sit down.
The information I saw is that the cruise ship departs from the train station to the Eye of Tianjin (the Ferris wheel built on the bridge).
The Jiefang Bridge is quite beautiful at night, I think it is~ Anyway, the night view in front of the station is very beautiful!
Worth a look.
You can have dinner at Tianjin Station. In addition to fast food, there are also pancakes and fruits... The bus fare in Tianjin is 1.5 yuan, and the air conditioner is 2 yuan, which is incomparable to Beijing!
The starting price of a taxi is 8 yuan (3 kilometers), which is not bad!
When I was researching information before going there, someone said that Nanshi was not interesting.
The foreign goods market is in Tanggu, quite far away!
The foreign goods market is just for selling stuff, and there was nothing much there, so I didn’t go there.
There is also Tianta Lake Scenic Area. I saw it on the way to Tianjin Olympic Sports Center (Shui Drop). The tower can be used for sightseeing, has a revolving restaurant, and there is a water park below.
The night view is also pretty nice.
You can take bus No. 8, and the whole journey is 1 yuan. It is the cheapest bus I have taken in Tianjin.
There is also a Xikai Church, but I didn’t go there because it’s free.
