The eight scenic spots in Lizhuang Ancient Town include the former site of China Construction Society, Xuanluo Temple, Huiguang Temple, Zhang Family Ancestral Hall, Moon Field Scenic Area, Li Feng Villa, Guangde Temple, and Lingquan Temple.
1. The former site of the China Institute of Architecture: The former site of the China Institute of Architecture is located in Yueliangtian, Ba Village, Town Town, Lizhuang City, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. It is two connected small courtyards, covering an area of ??1,480 square meters and a construction area of ??349 square meters.
2. Xuanluo Palace: Xuanluo Palace, originally named Wenchang Palace.
It is octagonal in shape, 8 meters deep and 25 meters high, and has a triple eaves structure in appearance.
The Xuanluo Hall has existed for more than 400 years, and it still stands tall and incorruptible.
The beams, frames, columns and racks used in the entire building are all inlaid with wood, without the use of a single iron nail or adhesive.
3. Huiguang Temple: Huiguang Temple was originally named Peng Nuzhai. After the death of San’e, the third daughter of Peng Zu, the temple was named Fairy Temple. It was renamed Huiguang Temple at the end of the Republic of China. The temple was destroyed in 1958.
The temple was rebuilt by Master Haiguo for alms after the March 3rd Chaos Mountain Meeting was restored in 1985.
4. Zhang Clan Ancestral Hall: The Zhang Clan Ancestral Hall was built in the 19th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of ??4,000 square meters. The main body of the ancestral hall is a courtyard-style wooden structure.
The upper part is the main temple, and the lower part is the hall. Each of the 50 doors and windows in the hall is 2 meters long and 0.6 meters wide, and they are all carved with fine nanmu.
There are lifelike cranes in different shapes, surrounded by dynamic clouds. There are 2 cranes carved on each window, with a maximum of 100. It is called the Baihe Xiangyun Window, which is one of the four unique features of Lizhuang.
5. Lizhuang Villa: Lifeng Mountain Villa faces west to east, covering an area of ??about 10,000 square meters and a construction area of ??about 7,000 square meters. It is a large-scale typical residential house in southern Sichuan. Liang Sicheng, a famous ancient architecture expert, has built Lizhuang Lizhuang Mountain Villa.
As a classic of folk houses in southern Sichuan, it is included in his masterpiece "History of Chinese Architecture".
