Ancient Culture of Yuegang Ancient Culture of Yuegang 1. Haicheng Confucian Temple, also known as Confucius Temple, was built in the first year of Qin Long in Ming Dynasty (1567). It is located in the campus of Longhai No.2 Middle School in the west of Yuexi, and is a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit. The main hall Dacheng Hall, the hatchback of the front hall, the Chongsheng Pavilion in the back hall and the Panchi in front of the temple are still well preserved, and the ancient style still exists. 2. The ruins of Rongchuan Wharf, Wusheng Temple and Ancient Shop come out of the Confucian Temple, walk 5 meters to the east, and then walk along the path south of Ximenqiao, and you can see many historical sites. The ruins of the port city in those days are still faintly visible today. There are seven ancient docks in the ancient port more than a mile along the river bank. And the big iron anchor of the ancient ship was unearthed near the ancient pier (now stored in the Museum of Anthropology of Xiamen University). In the former site of Rongchuan Wharf, there is a stone road extending into the river. The port bridge east of the wharf was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573 ~ 162), and the pier remains can still be seen on the bridge. "Bean Lane" near Rongchuan Wharf was the busiest trade fair in Yuegang that year. On the straight roadway of more than 1 meters, the appearance of the street store is still preserved as a monument. There is a "Wu Temple" dedicated to Guan Di Gong in Douxiang. 3. At the eastern end of Yanhailou Port, there is a four-story ancient military building-Yanhailou, which was built in the eighth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (158). According to "Haicheng County Records", when the Moon Harbor was in full bloom, the Japanese pirates often came to sneak attack. Qi Jiguang, a national hero, led troops to fight against the Japanese pirates in Yuegang. In order to strengthen coastal defense, Haicheng county built a stone wall, stationed troops for defense, and built Yanhai Building and Zhenyuan Building to "block the northeast of Haikou". Today, Yanhai Tower still stands tall. Yan Hai Lou, also known as Bagua Lou, stands like a pagoda near the port of Gu Yue Port in the northeast corner of Haicheng Town, Longhai City. It was first built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and it has been more than 4 years since then. Originally a military observatory, it is now one of the places of interest in Longhai City. Gu Yue Port used to be the eighth and ninth capital of Longxi County, and it was located in the coastal border. During Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty (156-1521), "Haomin privately built huge ships, sailed abroad and traded profitably", and it has become a "small Suzhou and Hangzhou in the southeast". Although the official repeatedly announced the sea ban, it could not stop it from connecting with the east and west. Because of the prosperity of Yuegang, Japanese pirates came to rob boats, seize goods, burn houses and kill people; Based on Wuyu Island, European colonists lured smugglers to engage in secret business and carried out armed looting, which caused long-term unrest in the southeast coast. After Qi Jiguang, a national hero, eliminated the pirates who invaded Yuegang in the Ming Dynasty, Haicheng County was established in Yuegang in the first year of Qin Long (1567), which meant "clarification of the sea and the border". Later, Haicheng Shicheng was built on the basis of the original castle, and troops were stationed for defense. In order to strengthen the surveillance and reconnaissance of pirates, Zhai Yin, a magistrate of a county, built a two-story watchtower in the northeast corner of the county from the eighth to eleventh year of Wanli (158-1583), which was named Yanhailou to "block the northeast deficiency of Haikou" and express his wish of "Boping Haiyan". There are many gun holes on the ground floor of the building, and a dark tunnel leads directly to the county government (now the party school canteen). In this way, the watchtower of Yanhailou and the surrounding Jiudubao, Xiwei Town, Dani Town and Zhenyuan Building are mutually horns and echo each other, forming a relatively complete defense system. After the completion of Yanhai Building, it suffered serious damage many times in the war in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. For example, during the reign of tomorrow Kai and Chongzhen (1621-1644), a large number of pirates looted and burned in the coastal area of southern Fujian, which spread to Yuegang; At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, Zheng Chenggong's army and Qing army also fought for many years in Haicheng, so only the broken foundation of Yanhai Building was left. During the thirty-six to forty-eight years of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1697-179), Chen Shiyi, a magistrate of a county, built it once, and in the thirteenth year of Yongzheng (1735), Yanjing, a magistrate of a county, "rebuilt from scratch, built a thick foundation site and increased the number of accumulated stones" to four floors. The back door stone tablet is engraved with the words "Lan Xiu Yu Qi". It was also renovated in 1919 and 1958 after liberation. The Bagua Building we see today is the reconstruction of the Qing Dynasty. Yanhailou, as a symbol of the rise and fall of Yuegang (Haicheng) in Ming Dynasty, attracted many literati at that time, went upstairs to reminisce about the past, and wrote poems for singing. The existing Qianlong version of Haicheng County Records records the famous poems of Ming and Qing Dynasties, such as Zhang Xie's Seven-Rhythm Poem Deng Yan Hai Lou and Zhan Mingzhang's Yan Hai Lou Fu. The existing Yanhai Building has four floors, about 3 meters high and 8 meters wide diagonally. Climb to the fourth floor and overlook the magnificent mountains and rivers with a panoramic view. 4. Cuixian Square comes out from Bohai Building, not far from Yuegang Park, which contains a rusty Ming cannon and several stone tablets. When you go out from the back door, you can see Cuixian Square at a glance. Cuixian Square was set up by Lin Song and Xian Cheng Liu Zongyong of Longxi Prefecture in the first year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1549) to praise the achievements of scholars in Hongzhi Jiazike Wu Yuan, Zhengde Dingmao Kelin Hao, Gengwu Kezhang He, Guiyou Kechen Yu, Bingzike Chenling and Jiajing Wuzike Gaokuandeng. It is a stone-like wooden structure with four columns and three doors and a single eaves. 5. Chenghuang Temple The Chenghuang Temple was built in Qin Long in the fifth year of Ming Dynasty (1571), and has been extensively repaired many times in history, such as Chongzhen in the sixth year of Ming Dynasty (1633) and Qianlong in the twenty-sixth year of Qing Dynasty (1761). Chenghuang Temple is a three-entrance and three-hall temple, and the main hard-mountain-style building temples are well preserved. The temple seat faces south, the square is spacious and large, and the wood carving art is quaint and unique, and it is also quite spectacular. City God Temple worships the valiant figures of Han Dynasty, which is divided from Fuzhou City God Temple. Therefore, Haicheng City God Temple hangs a plaque as the second-class "Weilinggong". According to historical records, Fuzhou City God Temple was upgraded to Fujian City God in the early Qing Dynasty, ruling over Taiwan Province, because during the Kangxi period, Taiwan Province was a government, belonging to Fujian, and it was "nine Fujian". Fuzhou City God Temple is the ancestral temple of City God Temple in all parts of the province and Taiwan Province Island. Zhou Ke, the imperial adviser of Emperor Gaozu Liu Bang, stuck to Xingyang City. When Xiang Yu captured the city, Zhou Ke was captured. Xiang Yu made him a general and enjoyed Wan Huhou, but Zhou Ke remained loyal and angered Xiang Yu, so he was cooked and died.
