The Yantong High-speed Railway is located on the eastern coast of Jiangsu Province. It starts from Yancheng City in the north, passes through Dafeng District, Dongtai City, Haian City, Rugao City in the south, and finally ends in Nantong City. The total length of the line is 158 kilometers. It is the first high-speed rail in the northern region with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The entire line has six stations including Yancheng, Yancheng Dafeng, Dongtai, Haian, Rugao South and Nantong West.

In the initial stage of operation of the Yantong High-speed Railway, the operating speed is 300 kilometers per hour, and 6 pairs of high-speed EMU trains are scheduled to operate every day.
