Xuzhou Fuyang Festival in p>2121 was held in Xuzhou. Fu Yang Festival is a traditional Chinese food festival. "Eating Fu Yang in the dog days" has a long history in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, together with Xiaoxian County. It can be traced back to the Yao and Shun period, starting from the first day of the traditional lunar calendar every year and ending at the last day, lasting for one month.

Fu Yang Festival

Fu Yang Festival is a festival created on the basis of Xuzhou folk food customs with Peng Zu cultural connotation. In the Peng Zu era, there was a custom of eating sheep in Xuzhou, and the "hiding fish from sheep" created by Peng Zu was the sublimation of the cooking skills of sheep dishes in that era.

The special foods of Fu Yang Festival include whole lamb banquet, mutton soup, roasted whole lamb, roasted whole lamb, mutton skewers, mutton hot pot, mutton in a local pot, mutton head in clear soup, spiced mutton head, three treasures of sheep, hand-grabbed mutton, crispy lamb chops, fine mutton offal, braised leg of lamb, mutton fried buns and so on.

Every day, local operas, dances, martial arts and folk customs were staged, and fabrics, dough sculptures, paper-cuts and exotic flowers, birds and stones were exhibited.
