Most of the books I read in April and May are self-growth. Although the number is small, I made mind maps and reading notes after reading them, and made a list of practices, which yielded a lot, such as cognition and action.
The main gains are as follows:
1. Watch your mobile phone less, and your heart is not tired.
Before that, I didn't regard reading as a major event, so I picked up my mobile phone to brush today's headlines and buy online whenever I had time. A brush is a few hours, I can't stop at all, my heart is empty and I have no sense of gain, and I am particularly tired. Now, reading makes me feel at ease.
2, less thinking, no longer anxious.
Before I saw negative online words, I was very worried. I would think of myself and feel depressed. It's different now. As long as you read it, the words in the book will give you a sense of strength and immerse yourself in it. It's beautiful.
3. Insist on daily planning and re-listing.
Since reading the book "Rebirth in a Year", I have started to plan and resume the day. There are four main aspects: input, output, consolidation and open source. Open source refers to creating links, broadening horizons and cross-border learning. For example, attending activities and meeting new people. Solid essence refers to self-control happiness, care for health and nourish the heart, such as soaking feet, self-control food and meditation. At the end of the day, it is very fulfilling.
4. Have fewer goals, not too many.
Before, I wanted to do many things every day. I wanted to learn English, practice translation, learn illustration, insist on writing, and bake. Especially when I see others achieve something, I feel very anxious. Isn't that what I wanted to do at the beginning? I'm still at the stage of thinking all the time, and others have achieved something. After reading this, I understand that the goal should not be greedy, and it is good to concentrate on breaking through one item in one stage.
5. Pay attention to extreme altruism.
All injuries are mutual, and all altruism is self-interest. Altruism is also a kind of confidence. For example, Gege, the author of "Squeezing Books", opened a public welfare reading meeting from the perspective of altruism to help his friends read. Nari Run, the author of "Rebirth in One Year", originally provided public career counseling and self-improvement community for everyone, and changed everyone's homework for free. It was the original altruistic action that all of them successfully started freelancing.
6. Link others.
Gege, the author of Squeezing Books, believes that linking others has six advantages, which can meet social needs, build a growth system, feel the strength of others, link various resources, lead a happy life and expand customer groups. In the past, I didn't feel deeply about this. I thought loneliness was awesome. I spent my leisure time on weekends in a muddle. It was always those two or three people who had dinner every time. Now I really need to pay attention to it.
7. Find your mission.
Mission is what a person is best at and loves to do. Whoever wants to find his mission early is definitely lucky. Finding your own mission requires constant exploration, tossing and talking to yourself. After finding your mission, you will be in a state of flow when you do things.
8. Reading is the lowest cost investment.
recently, I listened to a lot of live classes, and at the end of the class, there was a selling session, which cost three or four thousand yuan, five or six thousand yuan, and the price was really scary. At this time, I feel that books are really the lowest cost investment. You can talk to the cattle people in the industry at the cost of tens of dollars, and you can ponder over what you don't understand.
Goethe said, "Reading a good book means talking to many noble people".
Rubakin said: "Reading is to build your own thoughts with the help of others' thoughts".
Diderot: "People who don't study will stop thinking".
Shakespeare said, "Books are the nourishment of the whole world. Life without books is like life without sunshine. Wisdom without books is like a bird without wings. "
