Guide to three-day trip to Macau (food, accommodation, entertainment, sightseeing, shopping). This time I participated in a three-day independent trip to Macau with Ctrip, round trip by Air Macau, and stayed at the Venetian Hotel.
Food: Macau’s food is a combination of Chinese and Western food, which is very unique.
Here are some extremely popular ones that I have personally tasted.
Due to time and limited capacity, I didn’t taste many, so I recommend a few.
1.
Dali Lai Pork Chop Buns Location: Guanye Street Price: MOP18 Transportation: Take a taxi from the main entrance of the Venetian for about MOP20 and walk for 15 minutes. You can eat in and take out.
Sales start at 3pm every day.
Be sure to arrive early, otherwise they may be sold out.
It tastes very good and many locals eat it.
A lot of locals order pork chop noodles.
2. Wood bran pudding and wood bran cake at Bidas Location: No. 92 Guanye Street Price: Wood bran pudding (MOP30), wood bran cake (MOP36) Transportation: Take a taxi from the main entrance of the Venetian for MOP26. It tastes great!

3. Famous Crab Porridge Location: Chengchang Hotel, Guanye Street Price: MOP160 for large portion, MOP120 for small portion.
(The portion is large, small portions are enough for 2 to 3 people, you can order other dishes) Transportation: Take a taxi from the main entrance of the Venetian for MOP26. The porridge is made from three types of crabs, including water crab and cream crab. It is made with real ingredients.
, very fresh.
Alan Tam and Hacken Lee made a special trip to this store to taste crab porridge.
The other dishes in this restaurant are also delicious.
The fish balls are great. The waiters in the store are very friendly and considerate of the customers when recommending dishes.
4. Ma Jiexiu (actually just cod) Location: Available in many Portuguese restaurants.
Price: 200MOP~300MOP A famous Portuguese dish, cooked with marinated cod.
5.
Others: There are many restaurants in the Venetian. The Western restaurants are slightly more expensive than those in Shanghai. The price in Meishi Plaza is twice that of the Shanghai Food Court.
Accommodation: This time I stayed at the Venetian Hotel. Next time I will stay at the Four Seasons Hotel.
The two hotels are connected.
The Venetian room is very spacious and the service is good.
Check in and check out were quick.
The hotel has free shuttle bus to and from the airport and pier.
The only regret is that they have to check in at 3PM and check out before 11AM.
The first floor of the hotel is the casino and specialty stores, and the third floor is the Grand Canal Shopping Center.
There is a river running through the third floor, and there is a gondola to ride on.
108MOP for adults and 80MOP for children.
The boatman was Italian and sang very well while punting the boat.
Mainly Italian songs, but also Chinese "The Moon Represents My Heart".
The sky of the shopping mall on the third floor is artificial.
The light and dark of the sky changes.
Sometimes at 11 o'clock in the evening, the "sky" is still as bright as day; sometimes it is clearly noon, but the "sky" is as bright as dusk, which is very interesting.
Entertainment: The hotel has theater performances.
The Grand Canal Shopping Center and Casino on the third floor also have song and dance shows from time to time, and the performances are of high quality.
For those who like to try their luck, I don’t need to introduce you, haha.
Travel: Macau is a place where China and the West merge.
There are many modern buildings, but I still think the old town of Macau has more flavor.
The more representative ones are the Assembly Hall, Macau Museum, Ruins of St. Paul's, etc.
These attractions are not far from each other and can be visited in half a day.
Taking a taxi from Venetian to the Civil Affairs Bureau costs around MOP50.
You can also take the hotel's free bus to the pier and then take a taxi, which costs around MOP30.
Near the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau is the Old Town Pedestrian Street. The main attractions are: Lu Family House, Macau Museum, Macau Cathedral, Ruins of St. Paul's, the Fortress, etc. The famous souvenir street is also there.
The fort is on the top of the mountain. You have to climb up by yourself. Friends who are prone to heatstroke in summer should bring heatstroke prevention and cooling medicines.
Shopping: The Venetian and Four Seasons Hotels have hundreds of shops, of which the vast majority are specialty stores, as well as tourist souvenir shops and souvenir shops.
The Venetian's Grand Canal Shopping Center mostly sells trendy brands, as well as big-name stores.
Complementing Four Seasons Hotel's DFS, it is suitable for all ages.
