Mao's genealogy in Rugao, Jiangsu Province, was first revised by Mao Rui and Mao Luan in the Ming Dynasty, and it was a woodcut movable type print in the 19th year of Ming Chenghua and the 8th year of Ming Zhengde (AD 1483-1513). Now it is collected in the Library of China Academy of Sciences, Nanjing Museum of Jiangsu Province, Fudan University Library, Suzhou University Library and Maoshi Ancestral Hall in Dingyan Township, Rugao City, Jiangsu Province.

The genealogy of Mao family in Hailing, Jiangsu Province, was compiled by Mao Yi and Mao Zheng in Ming Dynasty, and was printed in wood engraving in the eighth year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (AD 1495). Now it is collected in the ancient books library of Taizhou Library, Jiangsu Province.

Mao's genealogy was compiled by Mao Zhicheng and Mao Qingzhu (Qing Dynasty). In the 28th year of Qing Daoguang (A.D. 1848), two volumes of woodcut movable type were printed. Now it is collected in the ancient books library of Taizhou Library, Jiangsu Province.
