Qiyang City is a county-level city newly established this year. Qiyang City is a typical "land of plenty". It is located on the bank of the Xiangjiang River, surrounded by mountains and rivers. As a native of Qiyang, I would like to introduce to you some of our traditional delicacies and special delicacies in Qiyang.
First of all, let’s talk about our breakfast. Our breakfast is mostly rice noodles. Qiyang rice noodles are also called Wenming rice noodles. The earliest rice noodles are famous for Wenmingpu Town rice noodles. The characteristic of our rice noodles is that they are fresh. They are made and eaten on the same day, not the dry rice noodles. The types of rice noodles include "soup noodles" and "cool noodles", also called "stewed noodles". Not only are the preparation methods of raw fish bream different from ordinary fish, but the eating methods are also very different. They are all cooked and eaten fresh, and must be eaten raw.
