Qingshuihe Town is the largest town in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, belonging to Huocheng County, Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a total area of 366 square kilometers and 28 kilometers away from Horgos Port. It is the seat of Zhande City, one of the nine famous cities under the jurisdiction of General Yili. Historically, it was the northern fortress of the ancient Silk Road, one of the 500 demonstration towns in China and 20 demonstration towns in the autonomous region, and also a demonstration town for developing small towns in Xinjiang by relying on science and technology.
Huocheng County, belonging to Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, is located in the northwest of Ili Valley, bordering on Tianshan Mountain in the north and Wenquan County and Bole City of Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture; South of Yili River faces Chabuchar County across the water; East to Yining County, Yining City and Cocodara City; Horgos is adjacent to the west.
