Answer: Except for self-driving, no matter what kind of transportation you use, you can only be sent to Yandang Town (called "Baixi Town" by locals). Yandang Town is very small and not as lively as Xianglingtou Village.
It is three to four kilometers from the town to Xianglingtou Village. After getting off in the town, you can take a minibus or taxi to Xianglingtou Village (only taxis are available at night).
Minibuses cost 3-5 yuan per person, taxis cost 10-20 yuan one way.
Since January 2013, the Scenic Area Administration Bureau has established a bus company and opened buses from the train station to various scenic spots via Xianglingtou. The bus runs every 20 minutes and the price is very low. Any two scenic spots only cost a few yuan per person.
It is recommended that guests arriving during the day take a bus directly from the train station to Xianglingtou Village for accommodation, while those arriving at night should take a taxi or arrange to be picked up from the station.
Question 2: Why choose to live in Xianglingtou Village?
Do I need to charter a car when traveling in Yandang?
Answer: Xianglingtou Village is located in the main Yandang Scenic Area, and it is very convenient to go to various scenic spots (please refer to the next blog post).
Although the village is small, it has pedestrian streets, banks, supermarkets, snack bars and hotels and inns of various grades to provide various convenient services to travelers from all over the world. It is the best choice for accommodation.
In addition to Dalongqiu Scenic Area, the most essential scenic spots in Yandang are also frequently visited by tourists. Others (such as "Liangling") can be reached in 20 minutes' walk from Xianglingtou Village. In January 2013, the Administration established a scenic spot bus company.
It transports guests from the railway station to various scenic spots via Xianglingtou Village, covering important nodes such as Lingfeng, Xianglingtou Village, Sanzhe Waterfall, Lingyan, Fangdong Cableway Station and Dalongqiu from east to west.
If you only visit these core scenic spots, there is no need to charter a car.

Question 3: What means of transportation is more convenient to get to Yandang Mountain?
Answer: Judging from the current situation, guests coming from Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Fuzhou, and Xiamen are recommended to take the EMU train as the most convenient and comfortable way.
Because most other modes of transportation require multiple transfers, the journey time and comfort will be extended.
Question 4: Can the Lingfeng day view ticket be used for the night view?
Answer: In principle, this is not possible. Once found, a replacement ticket will be required.
It is worth referring to the practice of some guests, that is, buying a night view ticket to enter the scenic spot when the scenic spot starts selling night view tickets at 6:30 pm. At this time, it is usually not dark yet. You can watch the day view for an hour and then continue to watch the night view, so that you can

The disadvantage of this approach is that the Guanyin Cave temple in Lingfeng Scenic Area has been closed and entry is not allowed. Guanyin Cave is a very unique temple in Lingfeng Scenic Area, built in the palm seam of Gaszhang Peak.
Question 5: Which seafood restaurants in Yandang are more famous?
What are the specialties in Yandang catering and what should we pay attention to? A: The "Zui Xian Lou" located three or four minutes west of Xianglingtou Village in the direction of the Martyrs' Tomb is the oldest and most famous in the area.
Among the several hotels near the mountain gate of the scenic spot, the "Fragrant Hotel" is the most famous.
But dining in scenic spots is indeed very expensive, especially seafood.
If self-driving guests want to eat authentic local seafood, it is recommended to drive in the direction of Yandangshan Train, then turn left to the road toward Ximen Island. After driving for a few minutes, there will be many signs or advertisements for seafood restaurants on the roadside. Find a home
If you're older, it's best to ask for the price when ordering. The price for a table of ten people, excluding drinks, will be around 400 to 500 yuan.
The further you drive in, the more authentic the seafood will be. It would be even better to actually drive to the island, which takes about half an hour.
The road condition is very good, but there are many forks. The road was built less than half a year ago, and there is no general navigation system yet. When asking passers-by, just ask: "How to get to Ximen Island?"
Like most scenic spots across the country, there is a phenomenon of "cheating" in Yandang's catering, so it is best to ask the price before ordering most dishes.
It is recommended to only visit restaurants that are clearly marked.
The most famous local snack is "Dajing Stir-fried Dried Noodles", which usually costs about 5 yuan per portion, and can be served as a meal with a bowl of seaweed soup.
In terms of snacks, the most popular snacks are "Wenzhou duck tongue" and "hillbilly", both of which are braised meats that are very popular.
Question 6: Is the inn you booked the cheapest in Yandang?
Why are housing prices in Nanxi River higher than those in Yandang Mountain during major holidays?
Answer: No.
