Hu Jinqiu Reservoir is the only medium-sized reservoir in Cuiping District of Yibin City, located in Jinping Town and Qiuchang Township. It was completed and put into use in 2005, with a drainage area of 18.3 square kilometers, a total storage capacity of145,000 cubic meters and an irrigation area of 3150,000 mu. Qiu Jin Lake covers an area of more than 4,800 mu with a water surface of more than 2,200 mu.
