Sweet Potato Huangjia is a name directly translated from the local dialect of Yueqing. There are two theories about the historical origin of Sweet Potato Huangjia (Sweet Potato Huangjia).

One theory is that the sweet potato yellow clip comes from Wengyang Town, and another theory is that it comes from Xiangyang Town.

1. Xiangyang Town version: During the Republic of China, there was a landlord named Wang who loved delicious food in Huabang Village, Xiangyang Town, Yueqing.

Every time there is a festival or festival, wine and food are always served.

The landowner surnamed Wang paid a lot of money. Whoever made a new dish that was appreciated by him would be rewarded. It is said that under a large reward, there must be a brave man.

As a result, various dishes came out frequently, many of which were exquisite, but none of them could satisfy the landlord surnamed Wang.

As the reward increased, just when the landowner became discouraged, a group of servants developed this sweet potato dumpling, translucent yellow-green, with a golden skin in the sun, the same shape as a dumpling, and as big as a small fist.

The aroma of sweet potatoes wafts through your nostrils.

The landlord didn't have much hope at first, so he picked it up and tasted it casually. He immediately stood up straight, his eyes were bright, and he exclaimed again and again, "Good, good, good!"

The servant immediately came forward to please him and asked the landowner for his name.

The landowner surnamed Wang asked about the preparation method, and ordered his servants to throw a bag of reward money over it, and gave it a name, sweet potato yellow dumplings (also known as sweet potato yellow dumplings, sweet potato dumplings, sweet potato dumplings). As a result, a new dish was added to the annual sacrifice.

With the changes of the times, the craft of making sweet potato yellow clips gradually spread, and became famous in Yueqing. The landowner named Wang later fell into decline, and his descendants did not lose this craft. The most famous breakfast chain store in Liushi is him.

After so many years of opening the Miaoxiang Sauce Laowang Soup Store by later generations, the taste of sweet potato clippers has also changed a lot from the original. Different places have their own different flavors, and a hundred schools of thought contend. Sweet potato yellow clippers have also become a snack in Yueqing.

Duoqipa 2, Wengyang Town version Another theory is that the sweet potato yellow clip appeared in Wengyang Town in the Qing Dynasty and has been circulating to this day.

And in the past, only wealthy people would do this.

In this version, the ancestors of Miaoxiang Juice also brought their skills from a wealthy family in Wengyang Town who married into a landowner named Wang in Xiangyang.
