2. Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain belongs to Lingnan hilly terrain, with the highest point of 382 meters above sea level. It has been a famous scenic spot in Yangcheng since ancient times. In 1960s and 1980s, Baiyun Mountain was named as one of the "New Eight Scenery of Yangcheng" with "White Clouds and Songtao" and "Yunshan Splendid" respectively. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were ancient temples such as Baiyun Temple, Shuangxi Temple, Nengren Temple and Maitreya Temple, and places of interest such as Baishan Fairy Hall, Pearl and Baihua Tomb. 199 During the Double Ninth Festival, people in Yangcheng liked to climb Baiyun Mountain. By then, the bustling scene of supporting the elderly and bringing up the young will constitute a unique amorous feelings painting in Yangcheng.
3. Baiyun Mountain is located in the northeast of Guangzhou, with the geographical location of east longitude 1 13 17' and north latitude 23 1 1'. The terrain is slightly oblique rectangle, northeast-southwest, about 4 kilometers wide from east to west and 7 kilometers long from north to south. This mountain is quite wide and consists of more than 30 peaks. It is a branch of Jiulian Mountain, the highest peak in Guangdong. The whole region covers an area of 28 square kilometers, including 20.98 square kilometers of special protected areas. [5] In the Master Plan of Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area (2009-2025), Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area has planned eight scenic spots, including Land Rover, Fei 'eling, Santailing, Mingchun Valley, Keziling, Moxingling, Mingzhu Building and Heyiling.
4. Land Rover Tourist Area is the first tourist area at the southern end of Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area. Luhu Park was built in 1958, and is located at the southern foot of Baiyun Mountain. There are lakes, curved bridges, pavilions and temples at the foot of the mountain, so it is named Luhu Park. Covering an area of 3.7 square kilometers, it is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery, flowers and birds singing, and beautiful natural scenery. It is the largest open multifunctional park in Guangzhou, and it is also a famous tourist area integrating culture, education, leisure and entertainment, fitness and food.
5. Guangzhou Forest of Steles is located from the top of Jiulongquan Well to the foot of Moxingling, with an area of 16000 square meters. The forest of steles built on the mountain combines garden art and classical garden architecture. It is laid out in the form of indoor inscriptions, open-air inscriptions and cliff stone carvings. It is divided into three parts: Nanyatang, Xianmoxuan and Cliff Stone Carving Area. There are nearly 300 inscriptions, which bring together some famous poets, modern poets and calligraphers to praise Lingnan scenery, poems and calligraphy masterpieces of Yangcheng and Baiyun Mountain.
