Synopsis of story:

The story takes place in a big hotel in Berlin. At that time, the whole of Germany was shrouded in the shadow of the economic crisis. Many people from different classes gathered in this luxury hotel. Among them are Plessinger, a financial giant who is in trouble and sheltered from the wind, Grusinskaya, a ballet dancer who wants to commit suicide, Von Gegen, an old baron who lost everything because of gambling and stole for a living, Klingeland, a lonely old man written by Plessinger, and Franlin, a beautiful but greedy and selfish stenographer. Their status and experience are different, but driven by fate, they came together and a series of thrilling events happened in just 24 hours. The main plot revolves around the entanglement between the baron and the actress. Seeing that Grusinskaya had a lot of gold, silver and jewels, Von Gegen had a bad intention, pretended to flirt, and took the opportunity to get these properties. The lonely actress fell in love.
