Synopsis:

In New York City's Central Park, there is a group of carefree friends: Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Malcolm the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo. They are cheerful and lively, so they live a colorful life every day.

Until one day, a group of wandering penguins gave Marty the zebra a bold idea to escape from the zoo and explore his homeland in search of a new world. So, without informing his other friends, Marty quietly went on his way. Alex and a few other friends also escape from Central Park and embark on a journey to find Marty.

Alex and his friends do their best to find their friend, however, their escape from Central Park is unsatisfactory, and after the first failure, the second great attempt comes soon after, and this time, they are even more on a ship bound for a distant home in Africa.

At this point, the four friends are reunited once more. But they find that beneath their feet is no longer the bustling city of New York, but the distant island of Madagascar.
