Rake-rake's "rake" and "rake" are homonyms, pronounced "smack dry". How did this name come from? Because it is a new hybrid citrus variety introduced from Japan, its skin feels particularly soft, and it was planted in Sichuan after introduction. It is as soft as Sichuan's rake ears, so it was named "rake orange", which is related to some local dialects in Sichuan.
Rake-rake citrus, commonly referred to as Chunjian, is a hybrid citrus variety from China in Shizuoka County, Japan, and has been introduced and cultivated in Jiangxi, Fujian, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Zhejiang and other places in China. Like a slightly acidic, warm and humid environment, generally planted in slightly acidic soil. The relative temperature and humidity are around 26℃ and 75℃.
Methods of selecting raked oranges:
1. If it has a lot of water, the rake will become big and heavy, so when choosing a rake, you should weigh it first. If this rake orange itself is very big and heavy, it means that it has a lot of pulp and juice, which will naturally be delicious.
2. Fresh rakes and oranges will be very soft if touched by hand, and the skin will have some moist moisture and rebound. But if it takes a long time, or it is not fresh or mature, then it will be hard to touch, and the skin will not feel resilient, and it will not be pinched at all. This kind of rake is not recommended.
Now you can taste it in the fruit shop. It is best to taste it directly. If it tastes residue-free and especially tender and juicy, it is a delicious rake. If the taste is dry, there is no moisture, and even a little residue is in it, it is not recommended to choose.
