Lianyungang Normal College is located in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province. It is a full-time ordinary college approved by the Ministry of Education. The institution of higher learning is an excellent continuing education base in Jiangsu Province.

The school was founded in 1914. It has been through the Eighth Normal School of Jiangsu Province, Haizhou Normal School of Jiangsu Province, and in 1998, with the approval of the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, it was formed by Haizhou Normal School of Jiangsu Province and Lianyungang Normal School of Jiangsu Province. The school merged with the three schools of Lianyungang Education College to form Lianyungang Normal College. In 2000, the Ministry of Education officially approved the establishment of Lianyungang Normal College.
