Jia Yucun is a character in A Dream of Red Mansions. He is a distant relative of Jia's family and the grandson of Jia's family. He is an ambitious man. He once spent some time in the officialdom, but because of his bad character, he was finally banished to the frontier. His character is complicated, sometimes he shows kindness and integrity, but more often he is selfish, insidious and cunning.
