1, characteristics

Summer black grape has strong stress resistance and grows like Kyoho grape. It is cultivated in the same garden as giant rose, giant peak and high wife, and its resistance is stronger. This variety has high yield, good and stable flower bud differentiation, and the germination rate of bud eye is over 85%. It is also easy to color. After softening, the fruits of summer black grapes begin to color quickly and evenly. It only takes 100- 105 days for the summer black grape to germinate from the inside to the full maturity of the fruit, that is, it is extremely early. Summer black grape varieties have thick skins, are not easy to be broken by extrusion during transportation, and have high sugar content, so they are more resistant to transportation than ordinary varieties. In addition, the sugar content of Xiahei grape is high, and the sugar content can reach 24 degrees, which is the sweetest early-maturing grape in China.

2. Key points of cultivation

(1) Pruning ears and thinning fruits: If summer black grape varieties have double ears, one should be pruned in time; if the ear is too long, one-fifth of the ear tip should be removed 10 days before flowering, and only one ear should be left on each fruiting branch. The ear of summer black fruit grows too densely, so it is suggested to thin the fruit manually.

(2) Treatment of fruit expansion: The naturally growing fruit of Xiahei grape is small and needs to be expanded. Spraying gibberellin solution on15th day after blooming, and repeating it once every half month.

(3) Fruit bagging: bagging the fruit in time, which can prevent and control pests, diseases and bird damage, and also ensure the yield and quality. The berries produced are not only beautiful, but also good in taste. Whether they are cultivated in greenhouses or grown in fields, it is best to bag them all.

(4) Fertilizer and water management: Summer black grapes should be re-applied with organic fertilizer in production, not only with base fertilizer, but also with topdressing in time during the growing season, so as to achieve better results with sufficient nutrients. Note that it is not resistant to waterlogging, and it must be drained in rainy season.

(5) Reasonable pruning: winter pruning should be carried out between the defoliation and the bleeding period in spring, and the dense branches should be pruned in time during the growth stage to reduce nutrient consumption and promote better results.
