One tael of rice is roughly equal to 50 grams of rice, and the food exchange portion method of 25 grams of grain is roughly 90 kcal, and 50 grams is two exchange portions, which means that 90 kcal multiplied by 2 is roughly 180 kcal. But be sure to understand that rice refers to the energy generated by the raw weight, because if you put the raw rice is not the same, the amount of water added is not the same, one or two of the energy of cooked rice is somewhat different.
There are three types of carbohydrates :
Sugar, starch and fiber, the carbohydrates in sugar and starch produce 4,000 calories per gram and can be absorbed by the body, fiber doesn't produce calories, it can't be absorbed, however it helps the food that is in the Fiber does not produce calories, it cannot be absorbed, but it does help food in the digestive system to move smoothly and slow down its absorption of calories.
