Based on the novel "Half Demon Steen" by Tailfish, the play tells the story that designer Qin Fang accidentally falls into a cliff and awakens Steen, an alien descendant who has been sleeping for decades, and the latter two guard each other and grow up together.
1946, Qiu Shan, the Taoist priest of Tianshi, killed Steen, a banshee, in Shanghai town. Before he died, Steen's mouth showed a strange smile of relief. In 20 13, Qin Fang, a man, and his girlfriend went to Qianqian in the west to look for an ancestral benefactor. The car crashed and fell off a cliff, and the sharp pile at the bottom of the cliff pierced the heart. The dripping blood revived the banshee buried underground.
She claimed to be Sten, who died in 1937. Later, Sten forced Qin Fang to obey her own drive and wanted a good game of revenge. Qin Fang tried every means to get rid of Sten's control, but on the road of revenge, he gradually discovered that his destiny had been arranged as early as more than 70 years ago.
Episode evaluation:
The first episode of "Sten" is like a traffic safety propaganda film. The villain pushes Qin Fang, the male master, off a cliff with his car, and solemnly reminds: "When driving in such a place, you must pay attention to driving safety." Some viewers lamented that the biggest feeling after watching the first episode was that you must wear a seat belt when getting on the bus (comment by Legal Daily).
In a novel world view, the adaptation of Stent shows a touching love story. Stent played by Jing Tian and Qin Fang played by Vin, with the unique tolerance, optimism and persistence of modern people, resolved the prejudice and estrangement of the previous generation, and reshaped the meaning of life with love, which will definitely give a most happy ending (People's Daily review).
