On a seven-day self-driving tour in Guangxi, it is impossible to visit everything. It happened that my brother took me on a self-driving trip. I chose his check-in points from his route. Let’s talk about these must-go check-in spots. He has traveled by car many times and took me on a 7-day self-driving tour. The route he chose was starting from Wuzhou, passing through Guigang and Pingnan, passing Liuzhou, then taking Rongshui to Guilin, passing Yangshuo, and returning to Wuzhou.

The first day of the road map, Wuzhou. Check out the Dragon Mother Temple, Gem City, and Arcade City, and eat classic chicken, scallion oil fish, and tofu snacks.

I am a native of Wuzhou. I can honestly say that most check-in spots in Wuzhou are natural scenery, either waterfalls, large lakes, or mountains and rivers. These small places can become Internet celebrity check-in points, but do you want to say that these check-in points have strong Wuzhou characteristics? That's definitely not the case. So I want to say something with Wuzhou characteristics.

1. Dragon Mother Temple. Because Wuzhou is a city that has been flooded for many years, Wuzhou has the largest Dragon Mother Temple in China. Both locals in Wuzhou and cities around Wuzhou will come to Longmu Temple to pray for blessings. Tourists from other places cannot miss it. For self-driving tours, you just need to navigate there. It was not a holiday at the time, so there was no shortage of parking spaces. The parking spaces were quite full on May Day and National Day, so it is recommended to stagger the parking spaces.

2. Gem City. Wuzhou is a light industrial city, and gemstones are also Wuzhou's landmark industry. In Gem City, you can see all kinds of gems, not for anything else but to get rid of the habit of chopping. As my sister-in-law said: “Before I went to Gem City, I liked diamonds. Planting gemstone necklaces; after going there, I will only buy gold jewelry.”——Me too.

3. Arcade City. In fact, the current arcade city is very simple compared to many cities, but in the first thirty years, it was part of Wuzhou's culture. And there are a lot of delicious food around here. If you feel that the scenery of Qilou City is not interesting, you can treat it as a city alley.

Wuzhou’s characteristic delicacies: classical chicken, scallion oil fish, you can eat it in any store, almost all of them are available, not to mention standardized taste, at least they have not been opened or closed. All OK.

Time schedule: Get up in the morning, eat soup rice noodles near the hotel, go to Long Mu Temple to pray for blessings around 8 o'clock, come down around 1:30, and go to Gem City to eat I had rice noodle soup, went to Qilou City for snacks, and had classic chicken and fish with scallion oil in the evening. Stay in a hotel near Rose Lake. If you can't sleep, go watch the night view. If you don't want to move, just check your phone in the hotel. The next day, Guigang. During the day, we visited the Jintian Uprising Site and ate kiln chicken from a local farmhouse. Spend the night at the night market near Qingyun Bridge and stay nearby.

At 7 a.m., set off from Wuzhou Rose Hotel towards Guiping. The navigation directly led to the address of Jintian Uprising, Jintian Village. The toll cost about 100, including the bridge and the highway. It took 2 hours to get to Jintian Village and arrived there at 9:15.

You can drive directly to the entrance, but the meaning of construction is very strong. They are all statues and scenes. The photos of the check-in are all very good, but I always feel that Feel like something is missing. My circle of friends are very happy.

Guigang is more famous for its kiln chicken, and almost all of them know how to kiln it.

The kiln chicken at the nearby farmhouse is also the same. It is different from the Guangdong takeout. The main difference is probably that it is freshly killed and has the taste of fresh chicken. It's incomparable to the taste of pre-cooked kiln chicken on takeout. In addition to chicken, sweet potatoes and corn are also kiln, and they all taste very good.

Since the planned itinerary in Guigang only included the Jintian Uprising site, I didn’t go anywhere after seeing it. I found a place to stay near Qingyun Bridge and visited the night market in the evening. The night market doesn’t have many local characteristics, almost all are internet celebrity foods, and there are no surprises. On the third day, we set off from Guigang to Liuzhou. Check in at Liuhou Temple, see Liucheng's "Chopped Pepper Fish Head", eat beef offal hotpot in sour soup, and eat fried snail noodles and snails.

At around 6:30, we set off from Qingyun Bridge and directly navigated to Liuhou Temple. There was some traffic jam, so I drove around 9:40 and arrived near Liuhou Temple. Liuhou was the famous Liu Zongyuan.

You only need tickets to enter the Liuhou Temple, but the Liuhou Park outside is free. After entering, I feel that the park is more attentive.

The characteristic of Liuzhou is not the scenic spots, but the culture of the entire Liucheng. There are rows of charging piles here. Among the scooters, there are many Wuling Minis, and there are not as many famous cars and luxury cars as in Shenzhen. But in this city, I feel that cars are truly a means of transportation, without comparison, full of human touch and fireworks.

For food, I found a small shop nearby and ate fried snail noodles, fried snails, and the combination of pickled bamboo shoots and perilla was the best way to enjoy the snails. respect.

After lunch, I took the water bus, which cost 3 yuan for a ticket. I had an experience that I had never been able to play in various amusement parks twenty-one times before. It is also very friendly to people with motion sickness.

The bus came and went, and it was already afternoon. We asked for directions while driving, and listened to a local uncle’s advice to eat hot pot and ordered beef offal pot with sour soup. , the soup base is Guangxi's unique sour art such as sour bamboo shoots, sour beans, sour taro sprouts, etc. The beef offal is freshly cut, and it's so satisfying to eat. After I finished eating, I packed up a pot and took it home as a late night snack.

On the fourth day of 66, we crossed Rongshui from Liuzhou. To experience the ethnic customs, I arrived at the foot of Yuanbao Mountain without climbing.

Liuzhou is Liuzhou and Rongshui is Rongshui. The two places are completely different. Our original itinerary was to go to Yuanbaoshan Forest Park, but when we arrived later, we stayed directly at the Yuanbaoshan Holiday Hotel. We didn’t go anywhere and just played around. However, there are many Miao themed streets around. The girls really liked the Miao food, Miao clothing rentals and auctions and had a great time.

For boys, it’s a bit boring.

In terms of food, it was quite satisfactory. I had heard that you could eat diron acid and the like, but I didn’t expect that there was none on the commercial streets, so I just ate something to fill my stomach without asking for anything more. While they were taking pictures, I pretended to be busy at work and played games with my brother for a long time. On the fifth day, the water was still melting.

The road from Rongshui to Guilin is actually very beautiful, especially from the passenger side. When you open your eyes, you can see the stone mountains standing like stalagmites. After the rain, it is even more picturesque. The scenery along the way is better than many scenic spots.

We were going to Qixingyan and Lijiang River, so we went directly to Qixing District. It lasted about two hours.

When we arrived in Qixing District, we divided into several groups. I went to Guilin’s Forest Park and Qixingyan, and they went to Elephant Trunk Mountain and Lijiang River to check in. These points are actually worth checking out, but I actually didn’t feel much about Elephant Trunk Mountain, so I went to other places.

I went to the Forest Park mainly to see tigers, and to Qixingyan mainly to fulfill the dream I had in my childhood textbooks. And they want to check out the 20 yuan scenery.

In terms of food, Guilin has the least amount of food. They only eat Guilin rice noodles and snail noodles, and they don’t even eat much snacks. We had dinner together in the evening, and we also ate ordinary ingredients, which I won’t mention here. However, Liquan beer was a surprise. As a Guangxi native, I had been drinking Budweiser before. After drinking Liquan beer once in Guilin, I changed my beer.

I didn’t visit Guilin in the evening, so I had a good rest and planned to visit Yangshuo later. On the seventh day, in Yangshuo, I went to Yulong River and ate Guilin’s 18-year-old wine. I didn’t have any accommodation and returned to Wuzhou.

In fact, Yangshuo is more entertaining. We asked to stay in Yulong River for a while and paid more money to the master. The masters were very talkative and their Mandarin was not very standard. We consciously switched to Guiliu dialect. After that, I introduced many things about Guilin with great enthusiasm. I felt my pure love for Guilin. If the roles were reversed, whoever arrived in Wuzhou would not be able to introduce so many sights to him.

According to the chef’s recommendation, we ate Shiba Niang, and I was very surprised to eat Tianluo Niang. I had heard of Tianluo Niang before and thought it was very unpalatable. But after eating it, I discovered that it has a very special flavor.

After visiting Yangshuo until around 3 pm, we drove directly back to Wuzhou, ending our seven-day trip. In terms of cost, it actually costs about 15,000 for 5 people, which is quite worth it.
