Yulin Teachers College is located in Yulin, an excellent tourist city in China and southeast of Guangxi. It is a full-time undergraduate college directly under Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and one of the four pilot universities for comprehensive reform of higher education in Guangxi. In 20 16, according to the data of the Ministry of Education, it was selected as a national "Hundred Schools Project" cooperative institution.
The school was formerly Yulin Normal School, which was founded in 1945 and renamed as Yulin Normal School in 1952. 1958 upgraded to Guangxi Yulin Teachers College. 1978 the State Council approved the restoration of Yulin Normal University. 1994, renamed Yulin Normal University.
In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Yulin Teachers College, Yulin Education College, Yulin Higher Vocational and Technical College and Guangxi Radio and TV University Yulin Branch merged and were upgraded to Yulin Teachers College. In 20 15, it was identified as one of the four pilot universities for comprehensive reform of higher education in Guangxi.
