The drama tells the story of twelve intellectual youths, represented by the protagonist Peng Tianyi, in an ordinary youth center in Northeast China, who have gone through a lot of experience in the rural area and matured, and finally achieved a great career.

The drama premiered on Suzhou TV's Social Economy Channel on January 6, 2020, and was broadcast on CCTV's Drama Channel on March 12, as well as on Aqiyi, Youku Video, Tencent Video, and Mango TV.
