Soft-shell turtle, also known as soft-shell turtle or turtle, is an oviparous amphibian reptile with a head like a turtle, but its carapace does not have turtle-like stripes, and its edges are soft and skirt-like, dark green in color.
1. Look at the whole body: that is, looking at the turtle as a whole, the female turtle is thicker and the male turtle is thinner.
2. Look at the carapace: The carapace of the male turtle is slightly elongated and oval-shaped, with the middle spine slightly convex outward; the carapace of the female turtle is rounder and oval-shaped, with the middle spine relatively flat and concave.
3. Look at the plastron: The recess at the rear end of the plastron is deeper in male turtles and shallower in female turtles. 4. Look at the skirt: The skirt at the rear of the female turtle is wider, while the skirt at the rear of the male turtle is narrower. 5. Look at the tail: The female turtle's tail is thick and short, does not expose the skirt, and has a soft tip, while the male turtle's tail is slender and can naturally extend beyond the skirt, and the tail is harder.
