As a supernatural film, "scaring people" is of course the basic task. However, with more and more brain-dead writers and directors, the IQ and courage of the audience are getting bigger and bigger. If a supernatural movie can really scare people, it is already of high quality. Many shoddy films only splash a little more plasma, darken their colors and amplify their sound effects, just to scare you. This so-called "hard scare" way is really no different from scratching your nest and telling jokes.
However, this film cherishes blood like gold. There are only a handful of bloody scenes in the film, and the background music is mainly soft and low, but it has always kept the audience in a state of panic. It depends on the creation of atmosphere, the embellishment of visual and sound effects, the expressive force of actors and the ingenious conception of directors.
The film jumped out of the trap of setting strange scenes, and all kinds of strange things happened frequently. It took less than half a set time for evil spirits to really appear, and directly and quickly told another supernatural story as an appetizer. This is the "Annabel Doll" incident that was later made into a movie.
