Jellyfish, also known as jellyfish and whitepeat, are aquatic invertebrates.
Jellyfish are usually solitary, floating or swimming, and very few species are found in colonies, and some colonies may be sedentary. The jellyfish body is bell-shaped or inverted bowl-shaped, or umbrella-shaped, the outwardly projecting side is called the outer or upper umbrella, the concave side is called the lower umbrella, the lower umbrella in the center of a drooping tube is called the pendulous lip, the pendulous lip of the free end is the mouth.
The gastric circulation cavity surrounded by the body wall is also well developed, it is either a simple sac or separated by a membrane into four gastric sacs, from which four (hydrozoan jellyfish) or more (mantle jellyfish) radial tubes extend toward the umbrella rim and are connected to an annular tube parallel to the umbrella rim, and from which small, centrifugal tubes also extend into the tentacles to the tentacle ends. At the umbrella rim or at the base of the tentacle are sensory organs, such as eye spots or balance sacs.
