Panicum is a self-pollinating plant. Self-pollination means that the pollen of stamens in the same flower falls on the stigma of pistil, and the flowers of self-pollinated plants must be bisexual. Pollination process of millet:

1, castration: cut off the stamens in the bud with scissors before flowering.

2. Bagging: Then wrap the bud in a bag.

3. Pollination: The male pollen at flowering stage is coated on the emasculated style.

4. Bagging: prevent other pollen from interfering until the end of flowering.
