On July 20 14, one day in the summer vacation, I took my children to the book city, not only to study, but also to cool off. I stumbled across a new book, Never Have You (Castle Peak Works), which was just published that year. On the cover, a woman with dark hair and skin is sitting on the steps with her back to the camera, looking at the lush forest in front of her. There are ancient stone tablets beside the forest, and white-walled buildings are hidden in the forest. I was attracted by the cover and title of this book, so I picked it up in a sea of books and started my journey.

Open it and you will know that this is Annie Baby's new work. And the pen name was changed to Qingshan. To tell the truth, from her first book to this book, she has published 14 books. I only read her stunning debut in my book bar as a librarian in my junior year in 2000, a novel that looks very self-centered, unique and novel. I haven't read her book since then. I am surprised to see this book now. What happened to Annie's baby? She is no longer a baby, but has gone to Zen. Because on the title page of this book, there is a small sentence "You have never read it" under a large blank. Clean and enthusiastic inside. -Buddhist scriptures, and generally I know that the nature of this book is travel notes and interviews. Although the price was 49 yuan, I bought it and read it carefully. Because I have reached the age of seeking peace.

Later, this book was basically read when I accompanied my son to a table tennis training class. Even if the blackboard is not sitting in front of the desk, I am used to taking a pen and an excerpt book with me, reading sentences that suit my mind, first drawing wavy lines with strokes, then copying them into the excerpt book if it is convenient to write, and then copying them when it is inconvenient. This is a habit formed in school.

There are two paragraphs in the author's preface that can be said to sum up the contents of this book.

"My trip started in the second half of 20 13. Starting from Beijing, arriving, coming back and starting again ... In this cycle, the route extends from Jiangnan to Gansu. I met four strangers before.

A chef who loves painting and is good at cooking advocates his diet. Photographers return to their hometown and respect their hometown and nature with a series of works. Young monks use poetry to learn Thangka, practice to understand and worship with faith. The old piano player who played in the ancient method is over 80 years old, experiencing various changes and sticking to one thing. "

When the author gets along with these people separately, he either talks, travels and enjoys the scenery together, or enjoys fragrant tea and delicious food together. "All the details and opinions are faithfully recorded in this book."

In the process of reading, I feel that Anne Baby has become the past. The first time I came into contact with Anne Baby's books, they were all young people's wanton publicity and lofty self. In this book, a woman named Qingshan looks at all the people and things she wants to see now with her own eyes, which truly reflects the inspiration given to her by the other party in the conversation. She pulled away from herself, just quietly watching, listening and acting. After all, she is forty years old. As she said, "For me, writing this book is just recording, expressing and transmitting. Other subjective evaluations or judgments do not need to be given or defined. "

The book is divided into four chapters, namely, Picking Flowers to Arouse Spring, Going Home, Crossing the Sea of Dreams, and Su Qin, the ancient sound is light.

This chapter describes the life of a private kitchen chef who can draw Chinese painting and make wine. His name is Liu Hanlin.

When the author asked him if he had read any books about Zen, he said, "No". Reading too many books has both advantages and disadvantages. If you read too much, you will get stuck, and your understanding will improve before you come out. Some people find it difficult to get out after going in and can't stand above the height they want. "

For life, he has his own understanding from the diet: "In fact, life can be very comfortable. There is no need to eat big fish and meat every day. Simple food can meet the needs of the human body. Just as our happiness and enjoyment need not be so extravagant. It can come from tiny things. " He attaches importance to the choice of raw materials in cooking and likes to choose the freshest ingredients from farmers. The dishes he cooked in this chapter also made me want to try.

He said that drinking helps to chat. "The more you drink tea, the more awake you are, and the more you don't want to talk. And drinking, the more you drink, the more you want to say something. " I have a similar experience in this respect.

Speaking of getting along with husband and wife, the author asked Liu Hanlin a question: Are you satisfied when you do these trivial things? He once said a classic sentence: "When two people live together, it is very important to endure words. Do what you want, don't be angry because you did it, and don't blame others for doing too much. For others, for yourself, if you think life is happy and can bear it, you can. Don't complain. "

Couples quarrel a lot, really because of these trivial things, who does more and who does less. People who do more complain while doing it. As Liu Hanlin said, the mentality between husband and wife is so important.

He rented a yard in the village and decorated himself with stones and scenery, so he was called "drunk". He only accepts food reservations. Sometimes entertain friends, or light dishes, or special fish, with homemade pear wine, and chat one build and one build; Take a walk in the mountains after dinner to help digestion, talk about scenery and life. It can be said that this is a way for many city people to retire from the world. But most people just think about it. In order to make a living, they have to work late. Just like Liu Hanlin, at one time, he needed to close his drunken house and work in hotels in Hainan and other places to earn some money.

Finally, when the author asked him how he felt after so many things, he said a few words that were extremely dull and enough for the author and readers to pay attention to: "Let's live in peace. Don't expect too much, and deal with the problem with reason. Equal communication, truthfulness, peace and no affectation. Don't rush to do something, don't deliberately avoid it. Let nature take its course and go straight ahead. "

Liu Hanlin, a chef, picks flowers for spring, writes and draws pictures, and influences his friends with his attitude towards life. The existence of this person written by Qingshan also allows readers to gain a lot from him.

The Return of the Native is about Wei Bi, a photographer. "I have lived in a big city for many years. Later, I decided to go back to my hometown and live in the countryside. " The author went to see Wei Bi's photo exhibition for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. The contents of his "Meng Xi" series of photographs are mostly rural traditional or ancient appliances, abandoned daily necessities and plants and crops in the field. And each photo is inscribed with a brush, and the handwriting is free and easy. After reading these, the author decided to interview him in Hunan.

The author learned from the conversation with Wei Bi that his current income mainly depends on the sales of works that the gallery is responsible for, and he rarely does commercial photography. Webby said: "If the material requirements are not high, there is still money. There are very few things I can do, but I try to do something deeper ... If I have enough financial resources or no livelihood at all, I would rather be an incompetent farmer, and the joy of contacting the land is far greater than being a so-called artist. "

He collects a lot of blue and white porcelain pieces, and he doesn't care about the age. He thinks beauty is the only way to collect them. Looking at the picture of cranes, fish, phoenix wearing peony and children playing on porcelain tiles, he said with emotion: "If people can paint like this now, they are well-deserved masters. No frivolity, no naivety, no affectation. Every time I see these ancient things, I feel particularly depressed. I feel hopeless in this life. "

At night, the author lives in a bungalow on the mountain, and it is difficult to sleep because of the wind and rain. The author wrote: "listening to the rain hitting the roof, the wind sweeping through the Woods, nature makes all kinds of subtle and wonderful sounds." In addition, it is the deep silence unique to the mountain village. " Only people in it can have this experience.

Wei Bi said that he "doesn't even want to go to counties and cities now, and it will be uncomfortable when he arrives in the city". In the final analysis, the heart still needs to echo nature, from which he can get everything he wants. He used to travel around and do all kinds of jobs. 10 years ago, he was arrested for an untimely photo and was locked up for nearly three months. After he was released from prison, he also worked as a newspaper photographer and a commercial photographer. Later, he chose to return to his hometown.

He said to the author: "human life is very short and precious, it belongs only to oneself." Don't waste on situations, people and things that have nothing to do with yourself. Live your own life, be immune to it, and stay away from pollution as much as possible. ""I'm tired of this city long ago. Not only is life stressful, but I also feel that living is meaningless. It's like being caught in a torrent and living without yourself. If this kind of sacrifice can be called dedication, it is actually a mutual consumption. " "I can't waste my limited life on these things Make a choice and leave. Those dozens of square meters in the city are not home, and there is no place for souls. Escape or retreat, it is someone else's statement. I know where I am most comfortable. "

But he also knows very well. Fortunately, he still has a way out. Many people are not so lucky. He said: "Going back to the countryside is not my own idea, but it may represent the tendency of a large number of people with certain consciousness in our time. It's just that some people can go home and feel powerless, have no sense of belonging, and have no home. "

Speaking of photography, he thinks the sense of caution in photos is very important. Now digital cameras are very common, and people's hearts are disturbed. "The person being photographed is not ready, and the person being photographed is too rude and hasty. Our sense of cherishing one thing was robbed. "

Speaking of calligraphy, he said: "Writing is not for being a calligrapher, nor for showing others. Through it, you can cultivate your mind and open another door. " "Writing is the core of China culture. Children in the future don't know traditional Chinese characters and are more alienated from classics. What the ancients wanted to read, handed down for thousands of years, was the essence. We don't understand the past, how can we innovate? " "Calligraphy needs to be balanced, and the strength should be put away. Once it is put away, it is yin and yang. There are many ways, such as not letting go, not picking up a pen alone and so on. Avenue to Jane, the truth of being a man is also unified. Calligraphy will make the heart quieter. Static calendar everything ... "

Living in my hometown is like living in my mother's womb. He feels very comfortable. Using photography to express hometown will continue. "If you feel it, you can see it and shoot it. Otherwise, the heart can't be connected, and you can't see the sacred things. "

However, he also realized that some of himself could not come back, and sometimes he still looked at this land with aesthetic eyes. He felt that he was not thorough enough. The author asked him how to be thorough, and he said, "If you want to be thorough enough, then don't do art or anything related to art". Let it only exist in the process of breathing, not to practice for money, to take it out. "

He made a summary, "Children in rural areas will start from a lower level and may begin to understand later, but it doesn't matter. They are born in contact with the land and are kind in nature. They can smell, see and touch nature. With enough perception and enough energy accumulated, there will naturally be an outbreak. "

The author Qingshan said, "There is an expression that is divergent and does not have a strong position, but it will arouse the inner harmony of others, so it has a faint aesthetic feeling." "At a certain level, what you don't pretend to say is good, and what you don't express is also good there." "Sometimes it's good to stay quietly, and you don't have to do anything right away. Some people can't stop because they have to create to exist. If there is no creation, they will not feel existence. "

He replied, "I can't stop because I'm standing there and being kidnapped by something I imagined." The final test is a person's realm. Where to practice and what kind of things. " What Wei Bi said impressed me deeply.

As he said, sometimes staying in an environment for too long, too familiar, will be insensitive. Need self-discipline, wake up something, drag sensitivity out of numbness, have a look, touch and feel something new. We all need it.

This chapter describes a 24-year-old Tibetan monk-Sangji Gyatso. Through his Weibo, the author learned about his life: reading, drinking tea, playing, writing, taking photos, drawing Thangka, studying, playing football on the grassland, picnicking, making hot pot, reading poems, listening to music, sunbathing, planting flowers, making friends with wild cats ... He also had various spiritual experiences and wrote poems to praise the surrounding areas.

He is a monk in Labrang Temple and has been to Beijing more than once. After having dinner and tea with him several times in Beijing, the author invited him to join him in Rinpoche, Arigon. Later, he invited the author to visit him at Labrang Temple. More dialogue records in the book took place after the author went to Labrang Temple.

The author describes what he saw here like this: "Many Tibetans who come to turn the sutra turn around the sutra turning corridor on the side of the temple in the morning and evening, turning the sutra tube and turning it clockwise. The road is very long, extending all the way to the mountain. Around the temple, about forty or fifty minutes. Most of the people who passed quickly were Tibetans. Holding the beads in your hand, chanting or chanting softly, the wind generally passes by and rushes forward. " It is very important for local people to adjust menstruation every day. This reminds me of the crowds around the Potala Palace and the people who worship step by step around the Jokhang Temple when I went to Tibet in 20 14. Their piety is reflected in their single-minded actions and firm eyes. Even we tourists were infected. We carefully followed the mountain and touched every prayer wheel that passed by.

Shan Zhi Giaco said: "What people doubt in the end is not something, but why they do it. Buddhism is to let people surpass themselves. "

Author Qingshan said, "But many people don't feel the need to surpass themselves. Self is what they value most. Self-needs are met. They think that ego can solve all problems. This is also the reason why many people cannot enter the church. "

The author asked him, if he stayed here all the time, would he sometimes feel the limitations of his experience?

He said: "There is no limit if there is no man-made, but doing something on purpose is a limit."

This touched me a lot. Are there still few things we deliberately do in life? How many fences have we built for ourselves? The restrictions are self-imposed.

In this era of free speech, too many people's expressions become anxious and ignored. Shan Zhi Gyatso said, "All people must be responsible for their words and deeds. What kind of consequences a sentence may have, and whether it will hurt others. But now many people don't think so and don't care. And when they are hurt, they will even be disappointed in the world. "

He talked about his meditation experience: "If you enter the deep meditation state, everything will become particularly slow. The most delicate heart exists. In this state of meditation, some memories may be aroused. These experiences may have been a long time ago, as if they existed in a certain space. It has just been discovered. You can watch it like a movie. "

The author asked him about vegetarianism, and he said that it is impossible to eat without any harm without a complete vegetarian diet. "I don't know the true meaning of vegetarianism, but it's useless to do that only in phenomenon." Cows are also vegetarians. "For example, some vegetarians go to vegetarian restaurants, which are obsessed with meat, making many things taste like meat and vegetables look like animals, but they still haven't driven away their dependence and greed on these things. There is no difference between being vegetarian and not being vegetarian. "

Regarding keeping precepts, his view is that the best precept is to go beyond one's own desires, which is the real precept. He said: "If a true wise man reaches a high level in his heart, he may not obey the precepts but completely surpass them. Those who really seek truth will go beyond the category of morality and man-made and feel that everything is limited. But we must abide by the border from the beginning, and it is impossible to break it if we don't abide by it. "

As a monk, the purpose of his study is to gain enlightenment, and the ultimate goal of his life is to gain ultimate freedom. "The ultimate wisdom is that there is no more confusion and pain, no longer subject to emotional control, including physical and environmental restrictions. This is also the ultimate goal of practitioners. "

The dialogue between Castle Peak and Sangji Gyatso shows us the inner world of monks, another side that most of us don't know.

This chapter is about Mr. Ye Mingpei of Suzhou, who is over eighty years old and an old lady who plays guqin almost every day. When she was young, she was a disciple of Zhang Daqian, a master of Chinese painting, and studied painting seriously. I painted until 2006, and then I stopped painting because of presbyopia and cataracts. And she began to learn the piano at the age of fourteen, and has not stopped practicing until now. She also teaches Guqin and apprentices. She believes that cultural heritage should be carried forward and passed on.

Mr. Ye told the author how he studied guqin and painting in that turbulent era, which was absolutely inseparable from his father's preference and support. After this intermittent narrative, Qingshan heard Mr. Ye's "Three Layers of Yangguan". I think there is nothing better than neutralization. She felt that she heard simplicity and neutrality from teacher Ye's piano.

Moreover, the author asked Teacher Ye a lot of questions, and Teacher Ye was always scratching the ball, feeling that she was a person who left herself alone. However, Mr. Ye's friend Han Tong said that a person who has done very well may not want to describe it, just like a monk knows that he will stay in the mountains and will not come out. "I really reached a certain level, and that's the feeling. What should I do? "

During Mr. Ye's rest, the author was bored and went to the famous Yiyuan Garden in Suzhou, which I visited more than ten years ago. I can't remember the place she described clearly, but I still remember one thing, that is, the couplet in the pavilion on the side wall: "Sweeping the floor and burning incense has no vulgar rhyme, and the breeze and bright moon have Zen meaning."

Later, the author was introduced by a friend and interviewed Li Zhaolin, a senior musician who made musical instruments in Suzhou. He once made an guqin. He introduced in detail the materials and process used to make guqin.

Seeing what wood he was talking about to make guqin, I suddenly remembered something I had forgotten for a long time. When I was in primary school, I once got a paulownia puzzle. My illiterate father found five wires. Nail the two ends of the paulownia jigsaw puzzle, and fix five iron wires evenly on the nails at both ends, with different tightness. Play one by one, there are five notes in all. I came to school with a homemade piano as big as my grandfather's abacus, which attracted many students to watch and try to play.

Go back to this book. These old people who can play musical instruments that the author Qingshan met in Suzhou all have some similarities, which are simple, clean and refreshing. Although he is old, he is still so crisp, talkative and clever. The author said, "It may be because I have done something for a long time and fully enjoyed and respected it." To some extent, they have retained their childlike innocence because they love what they do. "

In this book, among the four characters interviewed by the author, Mr. Ye Mingpei is the one with few words. He played two songs and didn't talk much, but the author felt that this indifferent and simple gas field always existed around her. The author sighed with emotion, "In Ran Ran, people's hearts can be smooth and calm. In general, what kind of heart can make you sound. "

After reading this book completely, I naturally understood its meaning, which is unprecedented. The Buddhist scriptures on the title page say, "I have never had anything, but my heart is pure and warm." I got something I didn't know before, and my heart suddenly became pure and cheered. This is literally given to me.

Annie Baby puts aside herself and focuses on discovering and excavating other people's lifestyles and inner world, thus becoming a castle peak. I think I prefer this change.

After reading this book carefully, I also feel that I have never had it before, and my heart is clean and enthusiastic.

Unprecedented, now I have it, purifying my heart, so happy!
