1, select container
When raising crabs at home, you need to pay attention to the choice of containers. Generally, transparent glass fish tanks, buckets and plastic pots can be used as culture vessels. Before culture, the containers need to be disinfected to prevent crabs from being infected with bacteria. At the same time, we should also provide crabs with growing water to make them grow better.
Step 2 provide feed
When raising crabs at home, you can provide them with feed twice a day to improve the growth rate of plants. When providing feed for crabs, you can use rice, meat foam, cabbage leaves, or fruits, and you can also use cereal feed such as rice bran and wheat bran. But it is best to use cooked food without seasoning to avoid polluting the water quality.
3. Change the water regularly
In the process of raising crabs at home, fresh water should be changed every three days, and the amount of water changed should be controlled at one third to prevent crabs from being unable to adapt to the changing environment. At the same time, food residues should be cleaned for crabs once a day to prevent the residues from fermenting in water and generating harmful gases.
4. A healthy environment
Crabs need sunshine and oxygen to live. You can put the water tank in a sunny place and ventilate it regularly.
5. Prevention of diseases
Because the environment at home is different from the environment where crabs grow, the immunity of crabs will decline. Therefore, crabs can be washed regularly during breeding, and their shells and dead parts can be cleaned with brushes. At the same time, salt can be sprinkled into water for disinfection and sterilization.
