1, sinking fish: Legend has it that Xi Shi coated her yarn by the Puyang River in the ancient state of Yue, and the fish in the water were so amazed at her appearance that they sank to the bottom of the river. Xi Shi, formerly known as Shi Yiguang, was born at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period in the village of Zhuji Ramie, Zhejiang Province. She was born with a beautiful face. At that time, the state of Yue was subjected to the state of Wu, and King Goujian of Yue was seeking to restore the state. At the time of the national crisis, Xi Shi endured the humiliation and sacrificed her life to her country, and together with Zheng Dan, she was offered by King Goujian of Yue to King Fu-chai of Wu, and became the favorite concubine of the King of Wu.
2, falling geese: Legend has it that "Zhaojun out of the plug", Wang Zhaojun line in the desert on the way, sadness in their own destiny and far from home, and therefore on the horse boredom, play "out of the plug song". The geese that flew by the sky, hearing the tune's sorrow and sentimentality, were cut to pieces and fell to the ground one after another. Thus, the "falling geese" in "Sinking Fish Falling Geese" got its name.
3, the closed moon: legend has it that when Diaochan worshiped the moon in the garden, there were clouds covering the moonlight, which was seen by Wang Yun. After that, Wang Yun told people that Diao Chan was more beautiful than the moon, and called it "Closed Moon".
4, shy flowers: Legend has it that Yang Guifei in the garden flowers, lamenting their fate, with their hands touching the flowers, perhaps mimosa, or maybe it is something else, the petals contracted, the leaves drooped. Being seen by the palace maid, she said that Yang Guifei was more beautiful than the flowers, and the flowers were so shy that they lowered their heads.
Ancient China's "four great beauties": Xi Shi, Diaochan, Wang Zhaojun, Yang Yuhuan (Yang Guifei) China's four great beauties who ranked the first, there has been a conclusion, but that is the ancient ranking.
