Early gastric cancer often has no special symptoms. With the development of the tumor, it gradually affects the function of the stomach, and the symptoms suddenly appear. Even so, these symptoms are not unique to gastric cancer. They are often similar to chronic stomach diseases such as gastritis and gastric ulcer, and can even be relieved by taking ordinary stomach medicines, but there are clues to be found. Early gastric cancer mainly has the following signals: First, stomach pain. At first, I only felt discomfort in the upper abdomen, or abdominal distension, and sometimes my heart ached faintly, which was often mistaken for gastritis or ulcer, especially gastric antrum cancer, which often caused changes in duodenal function and regular pain. Second, loss of appetite, emaciation and fatigue. It is often the first symptom of gastric cancer, accounting for about 40%. The third is nausea and vomiting. In the early stage, there may only be fullness and nausea, mainly gastrointestinal dysfunction caused by tumors. The fourth is bleeding and black stool. Early gastric cancer accounts for 20%, and once the elderly with no history of stomach disease have black stool, they should be alert to the possibility of gastric cancer. Fifth, there is tenderness in the upper abdomen.
