Pond clearing and cultivation of bait organisms

Purchase and stocking of crab species

Selection of crab species requires robust, neat specification, body color green and yellow, complete appendages, disease-free purebred Huanghekou hairy crabs. on March 28, the specification of 120 only/kg ~ 150 only/kg of the button crab seedling into the pond, stocking density of 5kg/mu, and before stocking with a concentration of 4% of the saline disinfection for 15 minutes.

Water quality management

The water quality of crab ponds should be clear, clean and rich in dissolved oxygen. Crab ponds regularly change water, so that the dissolved oxygen in the water body to maintain more than 5mg / L, and throughout the breeding period of the pH value of the water body is always controlled between 7.5 ~ 8.7. June to September high temperature season, crab ponds every 10 days to change the 1/4 ~ 1/3 of the pond water, and to maintain water level before and after the water change is basically the same in order to prevent the water level is often drastically changed to prevent the impact on the hairy crabs feeding and moulting.

Culture management

Feeding adhere to the principle of rational mix of fine, coarse, green feed, animal bait accounted for 35%, 45% of water plants, a variety of roughage accounted for 20%, the daily feeding amount of hairy crabs body weight of 3% to 5%, and the specific daily feeding should be adjusted at any time according to the growth of hairy crabs, the weather, the quality of the water and so on. The feed is put on the feed table for checking the feeding situation of hairy crabs, and the feed is fed subject to the completion of the next morning.From May 2 to September 12, the full-price river crab feed and plant bait with added chitin are fed; after September 12, animal bait, such as wild miscellaneous fishes and animal scraps, is fed to enhance the body quality of hairy crabs. Regularly patrol the pond 3 times a day, morning patrol is mainly to see whether the hairy crabs lack of oxygen floating head, check the feed table with or without residual bait, whether the hairy crabs moult, in order to determine the amount of feeding throughout the day; midday patrol is mainly to see the color of the water, water clarity and quality of the water is good or bad, to observe whether there is anomalous phenomena, there are no sick hairy crabs; evening patrol is mainly to check the hairy crabs to eat whether it is normal, the escape prevention facilities are safe, whether there is a hostile organisms in the pond. Especially in the windy, rainy weather should be strengthened day and night patrol, and do a good job of breeding records.
