Since it is guitar self-study, let's talk about why we should learn guitar by ourselves.
First, self-learning guitar is a challenge to your own ability.
Second, you can save some money. I also have some friends around me who study with professional teachers. The teacher is still famous, but every class is just to practice syllables with the teacher. The key to learning syllables is to strengthen practice. With books, we can still practice well, right?
Third, you can cultivate your self-study ability.
Fourth, kill time as a hobby.
Although it is a good thing to teach yourself guitar, some people balk at it when they teach themselves guitar, thinking it is difficult to teach themselves guitar, at least not the kind that they can show their guitars on the programs of relatives and friends in a few days. That's right. There is no denying that learning guitar is a hard job, because at the beginning of self-study, it was boring, and the fingers of the left hand hurt, which was a burning pain. During that time, I always put my finger against the wall before going to bed after practicing guitar at night because I had to press chords. So how do you teach yourself guitar? There are many guitar books, but here are some of my experiences and methods:
I think the learning process will go through the following stages:
1. First contact with guitar. It is necessary for us to have a guitar teaching book at this stage. First of all, I have a preliminary understanding of guitar, such as knowing what a classical guitar is and what a folk guitar is. You can skip the music theory part! {Nearly 1 week}
2. Beginner guitar. The difficulty in this period lies in the chord memory, the coordination of left and right hands and the transformation of chords. The method I take is to practice with songs, which has the advantage of avoiding the boring feeling when I first started learning, and using it to experience the transformation of chords and the cooperation between my left and right hands. It's best to choose your favorite songs and keep the music as simple as possible. I practiced those flowers at that time, and the effect was good. Don't practice other songs if you can play and sing. Connect some rhythms with the joy of learning the first song, such as 5323 1323, 532 123 and so on. {Nearly 1 month to 1 month and a half}
3. Learn more about guitar. When we learn the first song and some rhythms, we can learn some new songs. Of course, at the beginning, the learning speed was very slow. Don't lose heart, we must stick to it! ! The focus of this stage is to practice hand posture and some basic methods when playing music. The mistake we easily make is to hold the piano head in our left hand when pressing chords. This question must be removed. Don't forget to play 3, 2, 1 string with your thumb, index finger, middle finger and ring finger respectively! At that time, I played I really love you, Lilac and Bon voyage. Give it a try! This time you will find that you love guitar! {About a month}
4. Deepen your skills. At this stage, we will practice syllables and learn music theory! This will prepare you for climbing and changing strings in the future. Don't stop practicing songs! You can download some nice and simple guitar music to practice, such as "Birch Forest", "You at the same table" and "Don't leave if you love me", etc. {2 weeks to about half a month}
5. Practice the rhythm of arrangement by yourself. At this stage, we need to download some guitar music in txt format (guitar music is divided into picture format and txt format, txt has no clear playing method, that is, rhythm type) and try to arrange the playing method ourselves, which can enhance our confidence in learning guitar and practice more songs. The music with better txt format includes wait a minute, lonely sandbar is cold, you at the same table, etc. Music in picture format that can be practiced at this stage is Jay Chou's Rainbow. {1 week}
6. Climb the strings and practice deeply. Even some string-climbing songs, such as Lu Jiahong's Canon, To Alice and so on. {About 2 months}
I think after the above stages, the progress of guitar self-study should still be very fast, and I can learn it well. I still have some experience, that is, when I first started learning, I tried not to practice or practice guitar-sweeping songs as little as possible, such as "I really love you" and "Don't hesitate". I think that I have been practicing guitar in my second semester of learning guitar, and my progress is not obvious. In addition, when I don't like practicing, watching and downloading some videos about guitar on Tudou will stimulate your enthusiasm for learning guitar. When I first learned guitar, I practiced with acoustic guitar, which was not too expensive.
