The algal body consists of epidermal cells, epidermis and pith, the epidermal cells are closely arranged, the cortex and pith are more lax, the cells are filled with gelatinous inside. Stone cauliflower dioecious, the algal body has female and male gametophytes and tetrasporangium, mainly sexual reproduction, the reproduction process is more complex.
