Dried fruit is not recommended to replace fresh fruit.
Take the freeze-dried fruits closest to fresh fruits as an example. Even if they don't add any preservatives, their appearance and volume are almost the same as those of fresh fruits. However, the freeze-dried fruit removes most of the water contained in it and is rich in sugar, so the heat is increased several times. If the moisture content of a fresh apple is 85%, and the moisture content of dried apples after freeze-drying is 5%, then eating 200 grams of dried apples is equivalent to eating 1.3 kg of fresh apples, which is equivalent to four fresh apples.
If dried fruit is removed and sugar, oil, salt and other ingredients are added, the nutrition will be greatly reduced. For example, low-temperature fried fruit and vegetable slices contain a lot of fat. The fat content of fresh fruits and vegetables is usually less than1%,while the fat content of fruit and vegetable slices can be as high as10% to 20%. Coupled with the concentration of a lot of sugar after drying, if you eat too much, it will increase the risk of obesity.
No matter in nutritional value or delicious taste, the nutrition of any fruit product can't be compared with that of fresh fruit.
