Cultivation mode
Select the land to prepare the mountain area for breeding materials, remove weeds after selecting the land, burn ash on the spot as base fertilizer, rake the cultivated land to a depth of about 25 cm, and make a border with a width of 1.7- 1.8 m according to the topography and drainage conditions.
Cultivated in Pingba area, most of the previous crops are early rice. After harvesting, the rice piles are shoveled, and furrows are made. The width of the furrows is about 1.6 m, the width of the furrows is about 33 cm, and the depth is about 25 cm. The topsoil is loosened and shaped into a fish back. It is best to spread compost or manure on the border first, and mix it with the topsoil when digging.
Timely planting should be carried out around the beginning of autumn, not later than the end of August. Early, seedlings are easy to wither under the influence of high temperature; Too late, the temperature has dropped, which is not good for rhizome growth. Planting should be done in sunny days, and it is better to finish planting on the same day. Before planting, all Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort., which has no buds or damaged buds, whose stems have been bitten by insects, and whose nodes are infested with insects or whose buds have sprouted, shall be removed. Then, it is planted in grades according to the size of Ligusticum chuanxiong.
