For thousands of years, the people of Jiahe have been growing rice and eating rice, paying attention to intensive cultivation and never getting tired of eating it. Jiaxing Zongzi, as a typical representative of "Jiahu Fine Point", is taught both inside and outside. Making zongzi and eating zongzi remain in everyone's childhood memory in Jiaxing. Xiaozongzi is also a bond to maintain family ties, friendship and other human feelings.

"The first Zongzi Culture Museum in China has settled in Jiaxing, which is well-deserved." Feng Yueming, the chairman of Jiaxing Zhen Zhen Old Food Co., Ltd. and Jiaxing's "descendants of Zongzi", said that Jiaxing is the birthplace of the national Zongzi, the leader of the national Zongzi industry and the city with the deepest cultural heritage of Zongzi. It is also a historical and realistic choice for the Zongzi Culture Museum to settle in Jiaxing. Feng Yueming told reporters that Jiaxing held the first National Zongzi Culture Festival in 2005, which shows that Jiaxing's position as the "big brother" in the national Zongzi culture is indisputable.

According to Feng Yueming, all parts of the country have the habit of eating zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival, but only zongzi in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai exist all the year round, and people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are exposed to zongzi and its related products every day. "No city has such a deep relationship with Zongzi as Jiaxing, and no city has such a thorough understanding of Zongzi culture as Jiaxing."
