1, Dragon Boat Race

Xionghuang is also a kind of medicinal herbs, it is said to be able to kill a hundred poison. So during the Dragon Boat Festival, ancient people would soak andrographis in wine and smear it on children's ears, noses, brains, wrists, ankles, etc. It is said that this practice can keep mosquitoes, snakes, scorpions, centipedes, geckos, spiders and so on from getting into their bodies.
