China is one of the countries in the world with a long history of wine-making. As early as the Yin and Shang Dynasties, the oracle bone inscriptions already had the pictographic character for wine. By the Zhou Dynasty, my country's wine-making technology had developed to a considerable extent. level. The process of winemaking is recorded in "Notes" and "Liquor of Zhou". The "Huangdi Neijing·Suwen" written in the Han Dynasty records the discussion between Huangdi and Qibo about winemaking. The "Jiu Jing" handed down from the Tang Dynasty said: " Wang Ji traced the Jiao Ge wine method as a scripture, and also collected the records of those who were good at wine since Dukang and Yi Di. "

Dukang is the origin of Chinese winemaking, the source of Chinese fine wine, and a famous wine in Chinese history and culture. It is the origin of Chinese wine culture. The restoration and prosperity of Dukang Liquor is due to the brewing technicians of New China, and even more thanks to a Japanese friend, Tanaka Kakuei. It is precisely because of his "knowledge of goods" that he objectively promoted Dukang Liquor. development.

Tanaka Kakuei is the former Prime Minister of Japan and knows Chinese culture very well. In September 1972, Japanese Prime Minister Tanaka Kakuei visited China. Prime Minister Tanaka praised "the only good wine in the world is Dukang" and hoped to drink Dukang wine. Mr. Guo Moruo, then president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, immediately introduced the origin of Dukang wine to the guests, welcomed Prime Minister Tanaka to visit Dukang Village, the cradle of Chinese wine culture, and promised that Tanaka Kakuei would drink Dukang wine. Since Dukang Liquor was only brewed on a small scale by the private sector at that time, Prime Minister Tanaka was unable to fulfill his wish. Tanaka Kakuei's words attracted the attention of Premier Zhou Enlai. After Prime Minister Tanaka left China, Premier Zhou proposed: Reviving Du Kang and bringing glory to the country.

In November 1972, Luoyang people sent the trial-produced Dukang wine to the Brewing Research Institute of the Ministry of Light Industry in Beijing for review. It was highly praised: "clear and transparent, soft and fragrant, mellow and sweet, with a long aftertaste."

In 1979, with the spring breeze of reform and opening up, Dukang wine began to enter the international market. When the people of Luoyang learned that the Ministry of Metallurgy had organized a delegation to visit Japan, they entrusted the delegation to bring Dukang wine to Tanaka Kakuei and wrote a poem for Tanaka Kakuei: "Prime Minister Tanakahara, and the good family; Dukang wine, Zhou Gong has a long history."
