In the prescribed fishing ban and fishing ban period: all fishing activities except recreational fishing are prohibited; It is forbidden to use boats, rafts and other floating objects on the water for fishing; It is forbidden to use fishing tackle and fishing methods such as explosive hook, big barbed hook, one person with multiple rods, single line with multiple hooks, long line with multiple hooks and multiple lines with multiple hooks; It is forbidden to use all kinds of fish detection equipment and video auxiliary equipment for fishing; It is strictly forbidden to nest and take eggs, dig sand and engage in other activities that affect the ecology of water areas; It is strictly prohibited to purchase and sell the catches caught in the closed fishing period and the closed fishing area, and it is prohibited to provide trading places for the sale of illegally caught catches. In the natural waters of our city: it is forbidden to use fishing method, fishing gear and fishing tackle for fishing all the year round, such as electric, poisonous, fried and cormorant fishing. The prohibited fishing gear and fishing tackle shall be implemented with reference to the Catalogue of Prohibited Fishing Gear in Key Waters of Yangtze River Basin of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; It is forbidden to use bait, nest material and additives containing toxic and harmful substances and live aquatic bait of fish and shrimp for fishing all the year round; It is forbidden to manufacture, publicize and sell prohibited fishing gear all the year round; Harmful fishing gear such as visual fish anchor, river-blocking hook (net), dense eye net (refers to glued net with mesh less than 6 cm, cast net with mesh less than 3 cm, and other nets with mesh less than 4 cm), bow dart fish shooter, harpoon, ecstasy, cage net, snail suction machine, bottom trawl, etc. are prohibited all the year round in our city.

According to the characteristics of aquatic organisms, such as spawning, feeding and migration, all localities have formulated fishing prohibition periods. In other words, in a year, it should be stipulated that you can fish in those months and you can't fish in those months, and it will be clearly stipulated. It may be restricted from March 1 day to June 30th every year, because as we all know, this period is the period when fish breed and produce seeds. In order to ensure the smooth reproduction of fish, all activities such as fishing in the wild will be banned.

Legal basis: Article 1 of the Standards for the Prosecution of Criminal Cases, or illegal fishing of aquatic products of more than 2,000 kilograms or more than 20,000 yuan in marine warfare, illegal fishing of aquatic animal larvae and brooding parents with important economic value, or fishing of aquatic products in aquatic germplasm conservation zone, or fishing in marine waters of more than 200 kilograms or more than 2,000 yuan with prohibited tools or methods during the fishing ban period.
