However, if it is a merchant, the requirements for the preservation of pitaya are relatively high, and it is necessary to maintain the appearance and moisture of pitaya, so it is necessary to preserve pitaya in cold storage. The temperature of the cold storage room should be controlled between 3 and 6 degrees, and the relative humidity should be controlled between 75% and 90%, so that the pitaya can be stored for more than 1 month.
If it is a cut pitaya, then the exposed part of pitaya needs to be completely wrapped with plastic wrap first. If the room temperature is below 25 degrees Celsius, it can be put outdoors now, but it is recommended to eat it within 8 hours to avoid breeding bacteria. If it needs to be stored overnight, pitaya should be kept in the freezer. It is generally recommended that the preservation time of cut pitaya should not exceed 2 days.
