Hawaii Island is the largest island in the Hawaiian Islands in the North Pacific Ocean and a part of the state of Hawaii in the United States. Total area 10458 km2. The population is 148677. The island has a saddle shape.
There are many volcanoes on the island. There is Mauna Loa volcano in the south, with an altitude of 4176m, and Monacchia volcano in the north, with an altitude of 4,205m.
