Arabica
Arabica species originated in the Ethiopian plateau and were introduced to Europe through Arabia in the16th century.
Among all coffees, Arabica coffee accounts for 75%~80%, and its excellent aroma makes it a coffee variety that people all over the world fall in love with. The world-famous Blue Mountain Coffee and Mocha Coffee are almost all Arabica coffee.
Robusta
Robusta has a unique flavor and bitterness, accounting for only 2%~3% of mixed coffee, and the whole cup of coffee becomes Robusta flavor, so its flavor is particularly distinctive.
It is generally used in instant coffee, canned coffee, liquid coffee and other industrial coffees. The caffeine content is about 3.2%, which is much higher than that of Arabica 1.5%.
The main producing countries are Indonesia, Vietnam and West Africa centered on C? te d 'Ivoire, Algeria and Angola.
Liberia
Liberia, a large-grained species, is native to Liberia, Africa, and a few countries such as Malaysia. It has strong adaptability to various environments such as high or low temperature, humidity and dryness. Its flavor is worse than that of Arabica, so it is only traded in some countries in West Africa (Libya, C? te d 'Ivoire, etc.) or planted for research.
Its cultivation history is slightly shorter than the other two coffee trees. The Liberian coffee tree is suitable for planting in lowlands. Its trunk is tall and strong, with a height of 18 meters, large and tough leaves, and large fruits and coffee beans. Its seed coat clings to the kernel and is vermilion when it matures.
