The Tank Duckbill Fish, known as the Indian Water Monster, is a human-feeding being that locals in India have been hearing about. In certain parts of India, legends have been circulating about Indian water monsters that drag away and eat people on the shore or in the water. In reality, many scholars think or believe that the so-called Indian water monsters are actually giant tank duckbill fish. Due to its large size and aggressive nature, the Tank Platypus is fully capable of dragging people into the water and eating them in fear.

The Tank Duckbill Fish, is actually a predatory catfish that is huge and aggressive with sharp teeth in its mouth. The tank platypus can typically grow to about 1.6 meters in length, with the largest growing to 2.5 meters. Once found throughout much of Asia, the Tank Platypus is now concentrated in the Ganges and Mekong River basins. Although this fish is distributed in a wide area, but can be called a water monster, but only exists in India within the Great Karri River. As for the tank duckbill fish in other regions, they are just ordinary tank duckbill fish and cannot be called water monsters.
