Jiayu County is subordinate to Xianning City, Hubei Province. It is located at113 39'-114 22' east longitude and 29 48'-3019' north latitude. It is located on the south bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, bordering Wuhan in the north, chibi city in the south and Wuhan in the east.
