What does "QB" mean? "QB" is an acronym for enterprise standard, and its full name is "enterprise standard", which is a standard formulated within the scope of enterprises. In fact, the state encourages enterprises to formulate their own enterprise standards that are higher (stricter) than national standards or industry standards. Enterprise standards generally begin with the letter "Q".

Is GB better or QB better? There are generally three standards in China's food industry, namely national standards, local standards and enterprise standards. What is certain is that national standards are the most basic guarantee for our food safety. National standards can be used all over the country, and they are also the most basic standards that production enterprises must implement, while local standards and enterprise standards are a supplement to national standards, and they cannot contradict each other. There is a provision in the Food Safety Law that the state encourages enterprises to set higher standards than the national standards, but not lower than the corresponding national standards. From this point of view, enterprise standards can only be higher than national standards.

So when we buy oyster sauce, we can first look at whether the product standard number on the package is GB or QB. Oyster sauce has national standards, so if we see "QB", it must be higher than "GB". If there is no "GB" or "QB" on the packaging of oyster sauce, then don't buy such oyster sauce no matter how cheap it is.

We know what "GB" and "QB" mean, so when we buy oyster sauce, we should not only look at the production date, but also look at the product standard number, and we should not just look at the price and ignore the most important information.
